What does the role involve?

You'll be working as part of the Fleet Control team to monitor and approve the authorisations for vehicle repairs. You will draw upon your experience to understand the breakdown of each vehicle's usage and history. Using the company guidelines, you will assess whether the jobs quoted are required and priced appropriately.

Some of your key duties will include:

Reviewing jobs through our system (1link) and authorising repairs
Maintaining customer relationships with updates of vehicles
Ensuring vehicles are repaired within a timely manner to reduce vehicles off-road (VOR)
Negotiating cost-effective ways of repairs

What are we looking for?

You'll have knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair with an understanding of basic mechanical issues. You enjoy problem-solving and building strong relationships with your colleagues, suppliers, and customers.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to work using your own initiative
Excellent attention to detail and think proactively
