Heading
What information should I include in my application?
The application form will let you know what information is required. Most applications will require an up to date CV outlining your skills, experience, and any relevant qualifications. Cover letters are optional.
How should I prepare for my interview?
We use a variety of selection methods during the interview process, including telephone and face-to-face interviews. You will be advised what the selection method is prior to your interview.
Depending on the type of role, you may be asked to prepare a presentation, attend an insight day, or complete an assessment for specific skills required in certain technical roles.
If you are applying for a telephone-based role, you may be asked to undertake a roleplay to demonstrate your communication skills.
Regardless of the role you’re interviewing for, preparation is key. Use our website to find out as much as you can about what we do. Understand how your CV relates to the role you are interviewing for and think of examples you can talk about to demonstrate your skills and experiences.
Finally, prepare some questions to ask the interviewers as this is your opportunity to understand the role and culture at Novuna
Will you carry out any check on me before my interview?
As a financial services provider, we require all employees (including contingent workers) to complete pre-employment screening as part of their offer of employment.
As well as a criminal record check, pre-employment screening will verify your ID, eligibility to work, your academic and professional qualifications, your past five years of employment and/or education, and check for fraud, County Court Judgments and bankruptcies over the last 5 years.
In cases where further information or assistance is required to progress your pre-employment screening – for example, to provide supporting documentation – you may be contacted directly by the pre-employment screening team.
As pre-employment screening is part of Novuna's recruitment policy, if you do not want us to carry out the check, we will not be able to proceed with your employment application.
If you don't think you will pass the pre-employment screening, please get in touch and advise us of your situation. We will be able to discuss with you how best to proceed with your application.
What reasonable adjustment options does Novuna offer for candidates with specific needs?
Novuna is committed to accommodating candidates with diverse needs. If you require reasonable adjustments during the application process, please reach out to the recruiter looking after your application, and they will work with you to ensure a smooth and accessible experience.
