What does the role involve?

Reporting to the Lead Developer, as a Senior UI Developer you'll work in a squad to design and develop user interfaces that meet requirements and enhance the overall customer experience. You'll work on and exciting project which will involve migration from Angular to React and will ensure that the user interface is both visually appealing and user-friendly.

Some of your key duties will include:

Leading the design and implementation of complex UI features, incorporating brand guidelines
Ensuring deadlines are achieved and estimates provided by the team are accurate and reasonable
Coaching, mentoring and developing others to build a happy, motivated, and productive team
Liaising with internal stakeholders and third parties to ensure requirements are met

What are we looking for?

You have strong knowledge of UI design and development tools, technologies and best practices. With a passion for technology, you really enjoy learning new technologies and skills and are looking for a chance to make a difference.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality, innovative user-interface designs throughout all phases of the product life-cycle (including wireframing)
Strong technical skills including working knowledge of React and one or more of the following technologies – Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, AWS, HTML and CSS
Good stakeholder management skills, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with the organisation
Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills; with an adaptable approach to prioritise work effectively
