What does the role involve?

Reporting into our Head of Treasury, as a Senior Treasury Analyst you'll play a pivotal role in managing interest rate and foreign currency risks for Novuna. This is a key opportunity to work with financial markets and work as part of a small but dynamic team who independently manage and execute around £6 billion of multi-currency funding for Novuna.

Some of your key duties will include:

Foreign exchange and interest rate swap transactions in a variety of currencies (including GBP, Euro, AUD, USD, and JPY) to determine the net funding/deposit required
Delivering the monthly Liquidity Plan to achieve lowest possible net interest cost whilst at the same time keeping risk as low as possible
Preparing monthly and quarterly MI and reporting packs that summarise activity effectively for different purposes and audiences
Mentoring and coaching other members of the team to support their professional development

What are we looking for?

You'll have good knowledge of Treasury and will understand the principles and implementation of derivative valuation, and some experience of cross currency swap and IRS execution , together with methods used to account for treasury transactions. You'll have a passion for continued learning and will ideally have an interest to work in financial markets.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Strong mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy and ability to explain complex calculations
Advanced Excel skills
Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to negotiate and work closely with internal and external contacts
Ability to coach and mentor more junior members of the team and set an example by role modelling ways of working
