What does the role involve?

Reporting to our End User Computing Manager, you will work as part of a friendly on-site team, providing desktop and IT technical support to our people at Novuna. In order to set you up for success in the role, we'll provide you with a 6-month training program. This is a full-time, on-site position to be worked from our Newbury office.

Some of your key duties will include:

Acting as an on-site contact for IT-related incidents logged through ServiceNow and resolving tickets
Managing tickets for new starter IT kits, movers, leavers returning kit
Escalating complex issues to 3rd line using the correct process
Proactively avoiding repetitive incidents through publishing “how-to's” articles

What are we looking for?

You enjoy delivering exceptional customer service and get a real kick out of solving problems. You'll not necessarily have a background in technical support but will have a proven track record of building relationships and delivering outstanding customer experiences. You come with a passion for IT with the desire to learn new technologies.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Completing tasks by following a defined process
Excellent problem-solving ability
Ability to prioritise work
