***Please note this is a field/home based role where we anticipate your week to be split between UK travel to customer/supplier sites and your home location. Travel to our office in Trowbridge (Wiltshire) will also be required on an ad-hoc basis***

What does the role involve?

Reporting into our Strategic Account Manager you'll join our Specialist Asset team to participate and contribute in delivering fit for purpose vehicle specifications within agreed SLA's for one of our key customers. You'll provide recommendations to the customer where HGV/LCV specifications can be re-engineered to improve health & safety, reduce cost & waste, and reductions in build time, working with our supply chain partners to manage the quality of build and monitor their performance as part of a preferred supplier network.

Some of your key duties will include:

Supporting the customers decarbonisation targets by suggesting alternatively fuelled product and infrastructure development
Working with our Pre-Life Engineering Support Specialist and pricing team to deliver customer quotations, maintain the master pricing file, liaising with manufactures, dealers, bodybuilders and convertors
Reviewing agreed customer specification and signing off the build prior to asset delivery, ensuring full documentation is captured throughout
Being the technical subject matter expert on all aspects of the HGV/LCV Specification, supporting both internal and external stakeholders with any related technical issues

What are we looking for?

To be considered for this role you'll join us with a automotive engineering background with knowledge of Asset Design, HGV/LCV vehicle conversion and/or ancillary equipment. You'll have strong communication skills with the ability to form positive working relationships with key customer contacts, the supplier network and internal colleagues.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Knowledge of construction and asset use regulations
A forward thinking mindset with the ability to view through a commercial lens
Strong organisational skills
Confident user of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
