Assistant Facilities Manager

What does the role involve?

The key purpose of the role will be to proactively support the Facilities Manager to ensure that we provide a safe, secure and professional working environment to all staff, customers and suppliers visiting the site, through effective execution of class leading facilities processes. Actively work with other Novuna sites to deliver consistent and best in class facilities provision across Novuna as a whole, supporting the Facilities Manager.

Some of your key duties will include:

• Manage the facilities helpdesk and respond to issues or complaints logged within a timely manner, escalating to the Facilities Manager where appropriate
• Assist the Facilities Manager in the administration of Health & Safety requirements
• Maintain effective and efficient Facilities records as required by best practice standards
• Work with the Facilities Manager to plan and implement site improvements and internal office moves
• Monitor and ensure maintenance of cleanliness, tidiness, and overall professional appearance of internal and external aspects of the office
• Provide general administration support to the Facilities Manager
