What does the role involve?

With the support of a Team Leader, you'll be overseeing a team of 10 Build Executives who coordinate the build process with manufacturers and suppliers for a large number of commercial vehicles for our customers. This is a key role within our business and one which will see you interact with a variety of internal teams and external suppliers to ultimately ensure that the build and delivery process for new commercial vehicles is running smoothly, that risk is minimised and build times are in line with timeframes communicated to our customers.

Some of your key duties will include:

Minimising risk by ensuring that we have the appropriate internal controls in place
Providing regular updates and reporting on the current portfolio of vehicles sat within the build process
Managing manufacturer, supplier and internal stakeholder relationships
Driving forward the continuous improvement of our processes, systems and your team

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you'll have solid experience of managing a team within a commercial setting that delivers efficiencies and positive customer outcomes. You'll have experience of working in a process driven environment and one where the importance of managing risk through internal controls is paramount. You'll be a strong communicator, able to provide real time updates of the vehicle order bank and have the confidence/resilience to manage expectations of internal stakeholders, in particular, Sales, Finance and Compliance. Industry experience would be beneficial but if you don't have this we would still welcome your application.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Experience of process management and delivering continuous improvement
Ability to manage external supplier relationships
Ability to comfortably analyse data and reports
A meticulous approach and exceptional organisation skills
