What does the role involve?

Acting as a key player in our Operations leadership team, you'll be accountable for the performance and operational delivery for one of our key customer accounts. Working closely with the strategic account management team, you'll be acting as a trusted advisor and will play a vital role in translating the fleet strategy into operational activities. You'll also have responsibility for day-to-day line management of a team of operational managers, as well as indirect line management of operational team leaders and their reports.

Some of your key duties will include:

Identifying appropriate indicators and metrics for measuring performance
Acting as a focal point in key customer interactions
Keeping sight of strategic priorities and ensuring your teams are focussing on the right work
Ensuring teams are adequately resourced, and have access to the tools and resources to perform effectively

What are we looking for?

You're no stranger to leadership in an operational environment and you know what it takes to unite teams around a shared vision. You're comfortable building relationships with external stakeholders and have the knowledge required to become a trusted advisor in the fleet management space.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Knowledge of fleet management, including commercial and specialist vehicles
Capable of delivering strategic initiatives in a live operational environment
Passionate about safety and compliance
Customer-first mindset
