Specialist Vehicle Build Manager

What does the role involve?

Reporting into our Strategic Remarketing Manager you'll provide leadership to our specialist vehicle build team who manage the build process of our commercial vehicles, ranging from cars converted for commercial use, to LCV's, all the way through to our most specialist HGV's and plant equipment. You'll ensure robust operational processes are put in place to deliver complex builds in a timely manner in line with our customers expectations and also ensure that checks and balances are clearly implemented, whilst adhering to the highest standard of organisational governance.

Some of your key duties will include:

• Ensuring that new vehicles and plant are delivered on time, within budget and to the agreed specification to the customer
• Delivering and managing a robust supply chain framework that includes manufacturers, dealers and third-party suppliers
• Creating, documenting and maintaining robust operational structures, systems and best practice processes within the department
• Enhancing the customer experience through continuously improving customer service, improving product quality, reducing build times and driving cost improvement initiatives
  
  

Please note we adopt a hybrid approach to our ways of working which for this role would be 3 days per week in our Trowbridge (Wiltshire) office.
