What does the role involve?

Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance and working alongside a fellow Senior Risk & Compliance Analyst this brand new role will be responsible for interrogating data from across the business using SQL and Power BI tools. You will spot any trends, risks and issues within the data we have access to allowing for a more targeted approach to the way we work and so we can get better control over our systems within the Risk and Compliance team.

Some of your key duties will include:

Being the data Steward and acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with respect to managing data for the risk and compliance function
Playing an instrumental part in supporting our Group Data Strategy ambitions
Completing reporting activities, highlighting trends to support with business improvement
Analyse and present data to stakeholders internally

What are we looking for?

You will be a critical thinker being able to evaluate information and find answers to the questions that arise. You will have excellent SQL knowledge being able to write coding and use it to it's full potential, you will also be a great communicator being able to build relationships, listen to information and relay technical detail to non technical people.

Also, we're looking for the following:

An understanding of Risk and Compliance within a business
Have worked with Power BI tools
A passion for driving continuous improvement
A resourceful individual who can work independently to solve problems
