What does the role involve?

Working as part of the FP&A team within Novuna Consumer Finance, you will provide timely financial analysis and reporting activities to enable fully informed business decision making.

You will support the process to produce the annual Budget, Medium Term Plan and monthly Rolling Reforecasts utilising a multi-dimensional planning application.

You will support the FP&A team in continually improving processes, systems and controls to help facilitate the profitable growth of the business.

Some of your key duties will include:

Key role in the maintenance, enhancement and development of multi-dimensional planning models (IBM Planning Analytics / Cognos)
Provide supporting analysis, MI and commercial insight for senior management
Responsible for Cost Centre reporting, analysing and explaining variances against budget and providing support/challenge to senior managers as appropriate
Responsible for maintenance of the FTE forecasting models including alignment with cross departmental resourcing plans.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented financial professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or with extensive experience) with a knowledge of budgeting and forecasting. You will be able to utilise our planning model (IBM Planning Analytics / Cognos) to maintain and enhance business reporting modules. You will be comfortable dealing with large data sets and be able to clearly and concisely extract commercial value using a variety of reporting methods.

An ability to make sound commercial business decisions.
An ability to collaborate, challenge and influence senior colleagues.
An ability to extract, analyse and report data efficiently and effectively.
A proven appetite to explore new software technologies and ability to quickly learn new systems.
A continuous improvement mindset.
