We adopt a hybrid approach to our ways of working which for this role would be 2 days a week from our office in Newbury (Berkshire). Travel to our office in Trowbridge (Wiltshire) will also be required on an ad hoc basis.

What does the role involve?

Reporting into our Change Delivery Manager you'll be joining us as maternity cover for our existing Project Manager as we embark upon a large scale project to digitalise our existing vehicle quotation & ordering platform, enhancing the experience for our customers and colleagues whilst delivering efficiencies through streamlining the ordering process. You'll be working closely with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally, to deliver quality and minimise risk that ensures this project is delivered on time and within budget.

Some of your key duties will include:

• Leading project planning, scheduling, controlling and reporting activities to ensuring that comprehensive project, quality and risk plans are prepared and maintained and issues are actively managed through to successful resolution
• Delivering effective communication to all stakeholders to support effective decision-making, providing project status updates and managing the smooth and integrated delivery of the project
• Identifying and developing efficiencies within the project team, ensuring that processes and procedures are well documented and policy is continually updated and revised in-line with market and operational requirements
• Determine, monitor and review all elements of the project, including costs, staffing requirements, project resources, and project risk, ensuring that there are appropriate and effective governance arrangements supported by appropriate reporting.

What are we looking for?

To be considered for this role you'll join us as an experienced Project Manager and someone who has delivered large scale projects with budgets of over £1 million. You'll have experience of working with the Financial Services industry, automotive / vehicle leasing is not essential for this role but would be an advantage. Your key strengths will be planning, communication and the desire to really integrate into the team, rolling your sleeves up to ensure we work collaboratively to deliver this project successfully.

Also, we're looking for the following: 

• Experience of project methodologies (Agile & Waterfall)
• The ability to challenge and set clear accountabilities
• The ability to think technically, operationally, logically and be pragmatic with problem solving
• Experience and ability to forge strong stakeholder partnerships, both internally and externally, with a variety of seniority
• Experience of working with and managing successful delivery by 3^rd party suppliers critical to achieving project objectives.
