What does the role involve?

Our finance team in Vehicle Solutions is highly thought of by the rest of the business and have a reputation for talent, agility, and fun! Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, you'll be getting hands on with a variety of month-end and year-end tasks including balance-sheet reconciliations, accruals, and supporting the production of accurate and timely financial reporting.

Some of your key duties will include:

Carrying out monthly balance-sheet reconciliations and investigating any variances or issues, closely monitoring the issues and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure all variances and issues are resolved in a timely manner
Carrying out standard monthly end of month tasks, such as accruals, prepayments, and financial journal entries
Collaborating with our billing and invoicing teams to ensure periodical customer billings are accurately recorded
Identifying opportunities to improve ways of working for increased accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency
Providing support on other financial analysis tasks as required

What are we looking for?

You're curious, inquisitive, and eager to learn and are keen on building a career in accounting or finance. You're looking for a role with serious career potential and real opportunities for progression.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related subject
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and a can do attitude
Keen to undertake professional studies (eg. CIMA)
