What does the role involve?

As a team member, you will participate and contribute to Financial Control and tax compliance. You will support accounting for specific operating units and ensure that numbers included in the general ledger are accurate and timely. This is a highly collaborative role where you will be working closely with managers, colleagues, and the treasury team to create opportunities to support the success of Novuna.

Some of your key duties will be to:

Maintain accurate accounting records for Head Office, including preparing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing/loading general ledger journals, raising manual invoices as required
Assist with the Group Inter Company matrix, currency revaluations of all monetary balances
Support the reporting of the monthly FX P&L impact and the review process to identify and mitigate any unhedged positions
Review and maintain robust financial controls and process documentation for J-Sox

What are we looking for?

You easily adapt to the pace at which you work and enjoy multitasking. We often get very busy towards the end of the month and require an individual who enjoys the challenge of working to deadlines and promptly. You are organised and have a keen eye for attention to detail.

Also, we're looking for someone who has:

Strong experience in analysing statistics and data
An understanding of double entry
Experience with operating systems
Accounting qualifications (nice to have)
