What does the role involve?

Reporting to our Senior Collections Manager you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Collections Late Arrears team which consists of experienced Senior Collection Executives. The team aim to mitigate losses by ensuring that arrears are dealt with promptly and efficiently and that customers are treated fairly in accordance with FCA rules and Novuna's internal guidelines and values.

Some of your key duties will include:

• Identifying upcoming risks across the portfolio and putting interventions in place for bad debt cases
• Developing individual performance of your team through coaching, mentoring and case sampling
• Driving continuous improvement of processes and reporting by conducting ongoing reviews and collating data insights
• Manage and mitigate losses on all problem loan cases delivering updates to the Senior Leadership Team on a monthly basis

We operate a hybrid working approach here at Novuna and for this role we'll be looking for you to be based in our Staines office up to 3 days per week (free onsite parking is available).

What are we looking for?

You'll be joining us with proven experience of successfully leading a collections team within the asset finance industry. You'll be up to speed with collection and recovery techniques and be confident to implement strategies to reduce problem debt.

• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to operate in a fast paced environment
• An excellent communicator who is comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
• A natural problem solver who has a hunger to reach resolutions
