What does the role involve?

Reporting into our Strategic Change Manager you'll work on projects that deliver systems and process changes to our Novuna Business Finance Division. You'll support in evaluating and prioritising projects based on the value to both the business and our customers whilst ensuring changes align to our overall business strategies. You'll operate on the business side, liaising with your IT Project Manager counterpart to ensure alignment of project goals whilst managing your own PMO activities. We adopt a hybrid working model but to ensure your success in this role, through collaboration with your colleagues and stakeholders, we'd be looking for you to work from our office in Staines up to 3 days per week.

Some of your key duties will include:

• Lead project planning, scheduling, controlling and reporting activities ensuring that comprehensive project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained and issues are actively managed through to their successful resolution
• Deliver effective communication to all interested parties including stakeholders and Senior Leaders to support effective decision-making, provide project status updates, and manage the smooth and integrated delivery of projects
• Determine, monitor and review all elements of the project, including costs, staffing requirements, project resources, and project risk, ensuring that there are appropriate and effective governance arrangements, supported by appropriate reporting
• Management of project stakeholders, ensuring desired requirements are delivered to specification

What are we looking for?

To be considered for this role you'll have previous project management experience with a successful track record of delivering projects through to successful completion. You'll be someone who is comfortable with Waterfall (preferred) or agile methodologies and join us from a regulated environment. We would also consider someone looking to take their first step into project management providing that you have worked within a change environment as a Business Analyst and have a passion to develop your career.

Also, we're looking for the following: 

• Ability to think operationally and strategically
• Ability to make sound commercial business decisions
• Ability to collaborate with and influence senior colleagues
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and process analysis
