What does the role involve?
Reporting to the Head of Sales and working as part of a team of 4 other Business Development Managers across the UK you will receive leads from our telesales team and turn these into successful new business wins for Novuna. You will keep up to date with the external market and establish a strong network within the industry.
This is a remote role but you will ideally be located in the North of England (Leeds/Sheffield/Manchester) with occassional travel to the Business Cash Flow Office in Telford
Some of your key duties will include:
- Participate and contribute to the return on investment and ensure all personal targets are achieved.
- To enhance, develop and comply with all corporate governance requirements.
- To ensure that all final terms of business on any individual transaction are in line with the credit terms granted by the Credit department.
- To establish a good network of introducers providing good levels of enquiries for the business.
What are we looking for?
You will be passionate about excellent customer service, be tenacious and a true sales professional able to represent Novuna in a positive light. You will be curious by nature and not afraid to ask questions to really understand the way things work but also to challenge the norm and look at ways to improve things. You will be part of a close knit team of sales experts who support each other so someone who is keen to fit in to that environment is important!
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Ability to work with and collaborate with colleagues
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft office particularly excel
- Ability to plan own day and prioritise work
