At Novuna, the Risk team brings together experienced leaders and emerging talent in a collaborative environment focused on development, knowledge sharing, and collective success.

Risk Analyst Ben highlights the team's commitment to nurturing talent: "I have grown and developed as a risk analyst during my time here. My technical and soft skills have been nurtured working in the team." After three years at Novuna, Ben has gained expertise in data analysis, interpretation, and presentation, which helps drive informed decisions across the business.

Graduate Risk Analyst Isabella echoes Ben's perspective on growth opportunities. "I have had the chance to learn a coding language as part of the training, I use for daily tasks and bigger analysis projects," she explains.

Isabella has embraced this challenge during her graduate programme rotations across the Risk teams She adds: "It's been great to do this amongst supportive team members and is something I may not have had the opportunity to do otherwise."

Teamwork is something that Collections Team Manager, Poppy contributes to the team delivering the best possible service to our customers. She says: "I’m proud that we’ve built a strong team to help our customers who have fallen into financial difficulty or are vulnerable. we get amazing feedback from customers on their experience with us."

The collaborative team environment also enriches work for Regulatory Manager Alice. "Over the past few years, I have seen my immediate and wider Risk team grow, but it never loses the close-knit feeling." Alice emphasises how "we all want to see each other succeed. Everyone I work with is supportive and friendly, making coming to work a pleasure."

As a Line Manager, Alice gains fulfilment from "seeing my team progress and develop," which she calls "the most rewarding part of my job."

Novuna equipped Alice for this manager role through specialised training programs. She has progressed across multiple Risk positions, explaining: "There is ample opportunity to grow within the business. I have seen how it is strongly encouraged to explore areas of work you are passionate about."

Senior Fraud Investigator Amy also praises the "strong bonded team" where "no matter what comes our way we all work together to accomplish and overcome it."
