Novuna Ranks 14th on the 2023 Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List

We are thrilled to announce that Novuna has been ranked 14th on the 2023 Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list (IT50). 

This marks the fourth year in a row that Novuna has been featured on the list, and our placement of 14th is a significant improvement from last year's 37th position, and a remarkable leap from our first time on the index in 2020 when we ranked 43rd. Compiled by Inclusive Companies, the IT50 assesses all aspects of diversity, including age, culture, disability, ethnicity, gender, LGBTQ+ and religion.

Head of Talent and Employee Experience, Craig Oddy expressed his delight, saying, "I am extremely proud of our position this year, especially since Inclusive Companies is seeking cultural transformation regarding diversity. We are committed to achieving a more inclusive and diverse culture that aligns with our values, and it is fantastic to be recognised for the progress we've made."

Some key achievements that likely contributed to our high ranking include:

• Implementing an enhanced and refreshed inclusion and diversity (I&D) strategy in 2023 centred around four strategic pillars: Inclusion and Belonging; Diversity and Equity; Measuring Progress and Celebrating Success; and Enhancing Governance.
• Defining a clear I&D measurement strategy to regularly assess areas like employee sentiment, workforce diversity, data insights, employer brand perception and our contribution to inclusion in society.
• Shifting accountability for diversity, equity and inclusion from HR into the hands of business leaders.
• Making public commitments by signing the Women in Finance Charter, Race at Work Charter and Disability Confident.
• We are undertaking in-depth analysis of gender pay equity, diversity dashboard monitoring, and career advancement parity.

"HR hasn't solely driven the path to achieving this recognition," added Craig Oddy. "Our leaders have a key focus on diversity and inclusion (D&I), as highlighted by our Diversity Leadership Council. We still have lots of work to do, but our latest IT50 ranking shows the progress we have made in the D&I space in recent years."
