What does the role involve

Reporting to the Operational Excellence manager you will be responsible for delivery of key data and insights on our operational performance metrics. You'll also have line management of one other data analyst with the potential to grow the team over time.  

Some of your key duties will include:

• Identifying ways to improve and innovate our reporting
• Communicating key insights to stakeholders
• Day to day management of one other analyst
• Selecting the appropriate tools for presenting data and insights

What are we looking for?

When it comes to date and reporting, you're proactive, resourceful and keen to innovate. You get a real thrill out of improving how things are done. You're eager to progress in your career enjoy sharing your skills and knowledge with others. Whilst this role has line management responsibility on one other, previous people management experience is not essential – We are happy to provide the training required. What's most important is strong analytical skills and a passion for improvement. 

Also, we're looking for the following: 

• Strong Excel skills- Exposure to other data and reporting tools such as Power BI would be a bonus but by no means essential
• An ability to communicate with business leaders and stakeholders of all levels
• A growth mindset with a positive outlook
• A desire to make a difference to how data and reporting is delivered
