What does the role involve?
You will manage a dedicated service division for one of our largest customer fleets where we supply and build the new vehicles, support with all of the compliance of the existing fleet such as Service and MOT and where we will work hard to ensure that all downtime is kept to a minimum. It's a fast paced environment where you will receive communication with our customer via different routes such as through the phone, via email and also picking up calls that have come through to other call centre teams within the business.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Acting as a point of escalation for any issues and complaints, ensuring an appropriate and timely response
- Proactive management of suppliers to minimise maintenance expenditure and vehicle downtime
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to work more efficiently, ensuring processes and procedures are well documented
- Working with insights and reporting team to ensure appropriate measurements are in place to manage and improve departmental performance
What are we looking for?
You've already demonstrated your capabilities as a people manager and the challenge of looking at how we can improve service delivery excites you. You're passionate about delighting the customer and have the skills and knowledge to manage performance to make sure that happens.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Capable of managing and developing high performing teams
- Strong technical automotive/leasing knowledge – you know what it takes to keep a commercial fleet operational
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Good decision-making skills
