What does the role involve?

Reporting to the Head of Talent & Employee Engagement, you'll be joining us at an interesting point in our D&I journey. Your purpose will be to take the foundations that are already in place, and build on them to get us ever closer to a fully-integrated approach to Inclusion & Diversity This will include nurturing inclusive leadership practices and culture, and ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion is fully embedded in all our talent practices.

The role is between 15-22.5 hours per week. Your permanent office location could be based from any of our offices i.e. Leeds, Staines, Telford, Newbury. You'll work on a hybrid working arrangement, spending a minimum of 2 days per month in the office.

Some of your key duties will include:

Development of our diversity & inclusion strategy that will drive a truly inclusive environment where diverse teams can thrive
Supporting and guiding our colleague communities, creating opportunities for collaboration around a shared vision
Coaching and advising leaders and influencers across the business
Acting as a subject matter expert and centre of excellence in relation to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

What are we looking for?

You're someone who wants to make a real and tangible difference to the world of work. You have a real enthusiasm for inclusive leadership and are capable of igniting that passion in others. You have a good knowledge of diversity and inclusion, practices. whether you've been accountable for D&I as your main job or through involvement in extra-curricular activities.

You're also naturally a highly curious person, and resourceful when encountering new topics or areas of responsibility.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Creative and critical thinking skills
Comfortable working with and coaching senior leaders
Capable of developing a strategy and gaining buy-in across the organisation
