What does the role involve?

As a member of the Commercial Finance team, you will support the timely production of business decision supporting information as required. You will also support on complex commercial tasks and proactively identify and take ownership of profit generating opportunities throughout the Novuna Vehicle Solutions business.  This is both a challenging and exciting role where you will get out of it, what you put in. You will find yourself involved in all the acquisitions we do and gain an understanding of how the business will continue to grow. 

Some of your key duties will include:

• Liaising with key stakeholders and internal departments to provide input for profit generating initiatives. All the time being considerate and taking into account the financial and accounting impacts the proposals will have on Novuna Vehicle Solutions
• Being a key contact within Novuna Vehicle Solutions regarding the commercial finance business partnering required to enable the management team to run and drive the business forward
• Responsibility for the creation, application, and adherence of Novuna Vehicle Solutions to approved Portfolio improvement processes and procedures
• Management of in-life pricing models, liaising with the pricing teams to provide quotations for the sales team manging our Corporate and Specialist client base.
• Supporting the Asset Portfolio manager and Commercial Manager to ensure that no opportunity is missed with regards to increasing the profitability of Novuna Vehicle Solutions

What are we looking for?

Ideally you will be CIMA qualified to at least Operational Level, or equivalent with ACCA or ACA chartered accounting bodies. Graduates with relevant degrees who are committed to progressing accountancy studies as priority would be considered.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years experience working within a Financial Analyst role, who is comfortable working in an ever changing and fluid environment. 

Also, we're looking for the following: 

• Ability to present complex ideas to all audiences, including multiple and sometimes demanding stakeholders
• Ability to extract and analyse information from core systems
• Good knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Able to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
