What does the role involve?

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll have two key areas of responsibility. The first will be oversight of our in-life quotations and pricing team. The team leader will manage day-to-day operations of the team, and you'll be responsible for reviewing performance of the team, monitoring KPIs and ensuring the team is adequately resourced. You'll also be responsible for reviewing our current asset portfolio, and identifying areas to improve profitability.

This is a brand new role so there's scope for you to use your unique perspective to make it a success.

Some of your key duties will include:

Management of two direct reports, and a further two indirect reports
Stakeholder management - liasing with sales and account managers regarding quotation practices and volumes for corporate and commercial customers
Identifying areas for improvement in relation to quotations for renewals and lease extensions
Managing fluctuations in demand, ensuring there is adequate cover to support

What are we looking for?

You're a highly capable financial analyst with experience of working in a medium-sized, complex business. You have good relationship-building skills, and are capable of managing internal and external stakeholders.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Good interpersonal skills, ideally with some people management experience
Good IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Capable of thinking both operationally and strategically
Strong analytical skills
