What does the role involve?

The Data Privacy Manager will work with the Data Protection Officer to ensure that Novuna are compliant with all privacy and data protection regulations. You will advise and provide guidance to the business on current and new processes and conduct audits to ensure our business functions are working within guidelines. You will get to be involved with all different parts of our business and have an impact on decisions that are made.

Some of your key duties will include:

Ensure effective processes are inplace to help minimse risk
Ensure day to day business activities comply with UK Data Protection laws , including supporting GDPR mandated processes
Provide clear and concise advice and pragmatic solutions
Mitigating and escalating identified risks
Be the Data Privacy subject matter expert

What are we looking for?

You will be a Data Privacy expert who is looking for a step up in their career, you will be confident in your ability and be able to make sound decisions and give advice to people within the business on this subject. You will be a people person who is able to build relationships and able to work closely and advise senior leaders within the business about data privacy.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Demonstrable stakeholder management skills
Experience in the application of Privacy and Data Protection from any industry.
Excellent Presentation skills
Ability to work autonomously to achieve objectives
