Credit Risk Analyst

What does the role involve?

We are looking for Credit Risk Analyst's to join our Risk Analytics team as part of our Consumer Finance division in Leeds. You will complete MI reporting using excel, interpret results and report on them to the business and you will support with monthly forecasting by tracking performance across consumer finance.

Some of your key duties will include:

• Provide timely and accurate data for Novuna's Consumer Finance Business Unit.
• Deliver predictability and control of bad debt performance to a planned level of loss.
• Identify and implement innovative decision, modelling and forecasting technology driving year on year improvements

What are we looking for?

You will be able to analyse statistics and data, and be able to share your findings effectively to support business decision making. You will have some knowledge of statistical software/languages such as SAS, SQL, R or Python. You will be able to build effective working relationships with individuals from across the business and be passionate about providing fair and responsible credit outcomes to our customers.

Also, we're looking for the following: 

• Highly organised coupled with the ability to prioritise work
• Knowledge of credit risk systems design and implementation is desirable
• Knowledge of machine learning and forecasting techniques is incredibly useful
• The ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own workload
