Credit Analyst

What does the role involve?

Reporting to the SME Credit Risk Manager, you will work in collaboration with your team to make key credit lending decisions for both prospective and existing SME customers.

This is a good opportunity for people with existing underwriting experience to get their name out in the Broker network and gain some real-life, first-line experience. We offer flexible working hours and work a hybrid model where you will be expected to be onsite at our Newbury office from 2-3 days.

Some of your key duties will include:

• Reviewing Regulated and Non-Regulated SME credit applications from our Associate network 
• Undertaking Fraud investigations and dealing with internal and external fraud related enquiries 
• Creating, cleansing and distributing reports to the wider business 
• Analytically reviewing data and reports to ensure all processes are running smoothly
• Ensuring that good customer outcomes are at the heart of everything you do
