We're looking to recruit a Chief HR Officer/HR Director to continue our people journey as our existing HR Director is retiring.

What does the role involve?
Reporting directly to the CEO and as a key member of the Executive Committee, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive the people agenda across a dynamic, multi-faceted organisation.
You'll lead a fully insourced HR function covering all HR disciplines, operating centrally and locally. You'll work closely with business leaders to anticipate and plan long-term people needs while ensuring alignment with the Group's overall strategy.
You'll work with the main Board and be a key contributor to the Remuneration and Nomination committees
This role is an SMF18 position.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Act as a trusted HR lead for the CEO and Executive Committee, influencing key decisions and shaping the people strategy
- Collaborate with business leaders to translate the Group's strategy into a dynamic HR plan that drives success across our five Business Units and Group functions
- Partner with business leaders across our UK and European operations, offering expert advice and support to optimise relationships
- Enhance our Employee Value Proposition with compelling people initiatives, attracting the right talent and fostering employee engagement
- Proactively manage people risks and costs, ensuring a balanced and sustainable approach to workforce planning
- Lead organisational development by implementing robust workforce strategies that support business growth, talent acquisition, and employee development
- Strengthen leadership and management capabilities to fuel the company's ongoing growth and strategic ambitions
- Drive a high-performance culture by linking individual contributions to business results and company values through effective performance management frameworks
What are we looking for?
You'll be a hands-on, strategic people leader who builds strong relationships and is a key contributor in the Executive team. With a pragmatic approach, you'll provide tailored HR solutions that align with our business' unique needs. As a credible HR professional with a broad and deep background, you'll bring executive-level experience to influence and deliver HR solutions.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- A proven track record of leading sizable multi-disciplined HR function
- Experience of working in a regulated private sector industry within the UK
- Credible HR knowledge with a minimum of a CIPD Level 5 qualification or qualified by experience
- Broad expertise across multiple HR disciplines
