Business Development Manager - Decarbonisation

What does the role involve?

Reporting into our Head of Decarbonisation Jonny Berry, you'll be responsible for proactively promoting products and services to existing and prospective customers in order to drive growth in the awareness, uptake and deployment of Novuna's electrification solutions. 

Some of your key duties will include:

• Developing targeted business relationships and opportunities across our customer base to position the benefits of our end-to-end decarbonisation capabilities
• Managing a pipeline of sales opportunities which drives continued business growth of our decarbonisation proposition
• Generating and responsibility for credit proposals, business proposals and tenders/ bids
• Negotiating contracts and working in collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of proposed services as required

What are we looking for?

To be considered for this role you'll naturally be a self starter, able to evidence your ability to unlock new business opportunities through your previous experience of achieving sales targets. You'll be excellent at building relationships, have great listening skills to really understand the needs of our customers and have the ability to articulate technical propositions in a meaningful way.

Also, we're looking for the following: 

• Knowledge of the UK electrification landscape
• Knowledge of vehicle leasing and associated financial products
• The ability to build strong partnerships both externally and internally
• Strong commercial acumen
