What does the role involve?

As an Automation Test Analyst, you'll work closely with other disciplines across IT and the business teams to define and deliver how best to test new products and features in an automated way.

You'll work as part of a close knit squad on a business critical project which is centred around creating an exceptional customer experience through high quality information and a flawless user experience.

Some of your key duties will include:

Creating and maintaining automation packs, adding coverage for newly developed content and constantly driving efficiencies in the remote running of the pack
Supporting in the creation and maintenance of regression packs
Carrying out technical testing on a release, including making changes to automation frameworks as well as pairing with a developer to carry out testing activity in parallel with development, so that features can be delivered continuously
Coaching, mentoring and supporting other test team members

What are we looking for?

You'll be a strong communicator with a proven track record of building automation testing frameworks. You'll be well versed in working across the software development lifecyle, from inception & elaboration through to deployment and monitoring. Any exposure of mobile testing would be highly desirable.

Also, we're looking for the following:

Highly skilled in automation tools e.g. Selenium, TestCafe, Eggplant
Strong Java coding skills
Strong team working skills, and the ability to share ideas and agree on the best course of action
Knowledge of measuring the effectiveness of testing, and driving process improvements within an Agile methodology
