What does the role involve?

Reporting into our Build Team Leader you'll be joining a team Build Executives who co-ordinate the build process of new commercial vehicles for our fleet customers. From a car converted for business use, Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV's), Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV's) through to specialist vehicles such as fuel tankers and plant equipment, you'll be liaising with the manufacturer, suppliers, customer and internal colleagues to ensure the timeline for each vehicle build is mapped, communicated and delivered on time.

You will spend your initial onboarding period predominantly in the office before transitioning to our hybrid working model, which requires a minimum of three days per week in our Trowbridge office.

Some of your key duties will include:

  • Managing vehicle orders and the build process in line with our service level agreements (SLA's)
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the vehicles are ready for the customer in a timely manner
  • Highlighting any performance issues of suppliers or delays to the build process to the relevant stakeholders
  • Reviewing and checking compliance documents on a daily basis 

What are we looking for?

You are able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, effective time management, and a proactive approach to customer service and administrative tasks.

Also, we're looking for the following: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft products (particularly Excel) and confidence to learn our internal systems
  • A great approach to team working
  • An interest in vehicles would always help but isn't necessary!
