What does the role involve?

This role is admin based and will report to the Billings Team Leader within Finance,  the role involves working behind the scenes to ensure all operational billing is accurate, on time, and produced in accordance with the correct authorisation processes. As a wider team, you'll be cross-trained and will work together to share your knowledge of the customer and business operations. 

Attendance of the Trowbridge office will be required for robust training to allow you to get to grips with the ethos of Novuna and how we work. Following initial training, the role will then adopt a hybrid approach with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, with Monday being a mandatory day.  

Some of your key duties will include:

  • Ensuring the correct billing processes are followed for each customer
  • Handling incoming queries from customers, services providers and internal stakeholders - via email and inbound calls
  • Validating any discrepancies, to be handled at First Point of Contact 
  • Utilising your skills with supplier engagement and management

You're excited by numbers and enjoy working with Excel. Not only do you work confidently on your own initiative, but you're also a collaborative team player who values working with others to achieve shared goals.

Also, we're looking for the following: 

  • You are an advocate for positive customer service and have an interest in Finance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to be task focussed with a keen eye for detail 
  • IT literate, with a strong experience of Excel-based task
