What you'll do.

We're entering an exciting period of rapid growth, investing in our Account Management team to support the next chapter of our journey. This is a standout opportunity to take ownership of a small portfolio of high-profile, strategic specialist asset customers across the UK, where you'll have real visibility, influence and the chance to make a meaningful impact. 

As a Strategic Account Manager, you'll be working in consultative partnership with your customers, helping shape smarter, more innovative ways to manage their fleets, while delivering an exceptional service. You'll play a pivotal role in strengthening long-term partnerships, driving customer success and supporting the continued growth of an award-winning business; making this an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment. 

This is a home-based position that involves travel to visit national customers across the UK, as well as our operational teams at our Trowbridge head office.

You'll also:

  • Build long-term, trusted customer relationships by gaining a deep understanding of fleet strategies, challenges and objectives
  • Create and deliver strategic account plans that drive continuous improvement, growth, and profitability
  • Take ownership of key customer engagement, proactively leading customer account reviews with detailed trend analysis to enable strategic decision making 
  • Act as the primary point of escalation, resolving issues effectively and championing an outstanding customer experience

What you'll bring.

With strong credibility in the automotive industry, commercial vehicle knowledge is an advantage. You'll be comfortable advising customers and influencing decision-making. A natural relationship-builder, you combine excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with solid exposure to fleet management in a corporate environment. You're also data-literate, comfortable using insight and analysis to shape strategy and tell a compelling performance story.

You'll be a great fit if you are:

  • An influential communicator with proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Data-driven and commercially aware, using Excel and insight to influence strategy and demonstrate value 
  • Comfortable switching between strategic planning and operational delivery in a fast-moving environment, with the ability to balance immediate prioritise and medium- to long-term goals
  • Proactive, adaptable and externally focused, representing the business professionally across industry events and networks
